ActivEtch is a 37% phosphoric acid solution designed for use on dentine and enamel to create a perfect bonding surface by removing the smear layer and creating a rough and porous surface area, aiding the bonding process. ActivEtch provides the perfect etching pattern, ensuring that adhesives can penetrate dentine tubules for increased bond strength and providing optimal mechanical retention. ActivEtch will not over-etch surfaces, helping to reduce possible sensitivity issues.

Description
Ideal viscosity enables precise placement – ActivEtch will stay where it is placed, with no risk of slumping or running onto unwanted tooth surfaces. The gel’s thixotopic properties enable easy placement using a blue tip into the smallest fissures or onto large occlusal surfaces; when agitated, the viscosity of the gel decreases, allowing it to flow as desired. The product’s blue tint aids in visibility, so you can be confident that the product is located where intended and that there is no product remaining once rinsed. ActivEtch will not leave a residue.
