Swirl HEX is a Chlorhexidine mouthrinse which effectively reduces bacteria loads in the mouth and can also be used in the treatment of patients at home.
For decades, Chlorhexidine mouthrinses have been recommended by dental professionals as an effective means of managing oral hygiene. Swirl HEX is recommended for both at-home patient use as an addition to their regular hygiene routine as well as an in-surgery, pre-procedural mouthrinse; The Australian Dental Association’s Managing Covid-19 guidelines recommend that “…prior to commencing treatment all patients should be asked to undertake a 20 -30 second pre-procedural mouthrinse with a 0.2% Chlorhexidine mouthrinse.” Unlike other Chlorhexidine mouthrinses, your patients will appreciate the mild mint flavour of Swirl HEX, which masks the otherwise bitter taste of Chlorhexidine.
